$17.00 to $25.00 per hour
Job Requirements:
- Must be willing to learn.
- Valid drivers license and clean MVR.
- Must be able to work in a team setting.
- Ability to run some heavy equipment or willingness to learn.
- Must be punctual and efficient.
- Must be able to work outside in various conditions.
- Must be able to work extended hours if needed.
- Interest in plant material preferred.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be prepared daily with proper clothing for all weather.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Find the answer and solution to problems or questions if unknown by asking your foreman or boss.
- Assist in meeting deadlines for each job.
- Assist in preparation of job sites prior to the beginning of a project.
- Operate various tools and equipment, including: chain saw, augers, leaf blowers, shovel, hammer, drill, mini skid, skid loader, etc.
- Assure job sites and trucks are emptied of garbage on a daily basis.
- Assure tools are put back in there place daily.
- Assure tools and protected from the elements when needed (close tools boxes during dusty/rainy conditions).
- Read and interpret blueprints and designs to specifications.
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise and cold.
- Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.
