As a Landscape Laborer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetic appeal of residential and commercial properties through various landscaping tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Execute tree trimming and care to ensure the health and appearance of trees on properties.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping projects.
- Assist in snow plowing during winter months to maintain clear pathways and driveways.
- Conduct general groundskeeping duties such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Maintain equipment by cleaning, lubricating, and performing minor repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete landscaping projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes.
- Experience with power tools including lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers is preferred.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care practices.
- Familiarity with snow plowing equipment is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
