Overview
We’re Luminary Lawns, a mission-driven, eco-friendly lawn & garden company serving the Bel Air area. Our focus is sustainable practices, high-quality results, and creating outdoor spaces our customers can feel good about.
We're looking for a hands-on landscaper who’s just as comfortable planting perennials solo as they are coordinating a small team for a sod install. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working hard, takes pride in their craft, and wants to grow into a key leadership position.
Our last landscaper left suddenly, and our owner is preparing for surgery — we need someone dependable who can take the lead in the field and help keep the momentum going.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform lawn and garden work, including:
- Garden bed installation and maintenance
- Sod installation
- Light grading
- Trimming, pruning, and planting
- Aeration and overseeding
- Perform post-service walkthroughs with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Occasionally assist with customer walkthroughs and estimate preparation
- Coordinate delivery or pickup of materials for job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work site with minimal oversight
- Represent our brand’s values and mission in all customer interactions
You Might Be a Great Fit If You…

- Can work independently and efficiently, with or without supervision
- Know your way around the tools of the trade (bonus if you’ve run an aerator)
- Enjoy working outdoors and aren’t afraid of a physically demanding job
- Believe in doing right by the environment, and your customers
- Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Schedule
- Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (3-day weekends? Yes, please.)
- Full-time position with the intent to be year-round (weather and workflow dependent)
Compensation & Benefits
- Performance-Based Pay (P4P): Earn $25–$28/hr based on the budgeted time for each job
