Farrands Landscape is seeking a skilled and passionate Landscaper to join our team.
As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces for our clients.
Your primary duties will include planting and caring for various plants, trees, and shrubs, as well as lawncare and hardscape.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
- Prepare soil, plant seeds, install sod, and transplant trees and shrubs to create aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces.
- Maintain and care for existing landscapes by watering, fertilizing, pruning, and applying pest control treatments.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
- Provide regular lawn maintenance services, including mowing, edging, and weeding.
- Manage and remove debris, leaves, and snow from outdoor areas.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within established timelines.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of plants, trees, and shrubs, including their care and maintenance requirements.
- Proficient in landscape design principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on project requirements.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a creative eye for enhancing outdoor spaces.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
