Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Laundry Attendant for Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facility, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures.
- Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
- Inspect all items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques and equipment used in laundry operations.
- Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
