Job Description
Laundry Attendant
Reports to: Housekeeping Executive
Key Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for the maintaining a high level of standards of quality in the distribution and cleaning of hotel linen and terry.
Responsible for inventory of all chemical in work area.
Responsible for helping and assisting in receiving of hotel supplies.
Responsible for the washing and overseeing of all hotel terry, bedspreads pillow shams and Blankets.
Maintain a high level of quality and control in the processing of hotel linen and terry.
Assist with the preparation of linen for house person for distribution to room attendants as well as to other departments as required to ensure effective operations in all areas of the hotel.
Adhere to all fire safety and security procedures including periodic checking of lint according to standards set forth by the company.
Assist in all linen, Terries and reserved linen inventory.
Always maintain Laundry room clean and neat and include outside hallway.
Attend regular meetings with housekeeping
Comply with all hotel policies and standards operating procedures.
Be courteous
Show genuine care for all co-workers and guest(s)
The ability to work well in a team environment
Proficient in the English language. Second language is an asset.
Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Ability to operate a commercial washer extractor, ironer, dryers, folders along with various other laundry equipment.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
