THE FORUM is recruiting for a hospitality focused Laundry Associate to join our team! This position is responsible for carrying out the normal activities of the laundry, including washing, ironing, folding, sorting of clothing and linens.
Employment Type : Full Time
Hourly Range : $21.50- $31.73

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Housekeeper:
- Collects, cleans and redistributes the Community laundry and resident personal clothing in the Healthcare Center. Weighting all soiled linen and record it in the log sheet.
- Ensures that all Health Care Center Laundry is properly sorted, washed and dried according to State and Federal Regulations.
- Ensures that the laundry is maintained in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
- Inspecting linens for wear and tear. Standard Operating Procedure for damaged lines.
- Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by the supervisor.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Practices safety procedures at all times, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Communicates effectively using approved radio equipment.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and written communication effectively. (For daily documentation/ work orders/supplies/cleaning,)
- Commercial laundry experience is desirable, but not required. Ability to process 50-100 pounds of laundry at a time.
