Lawn Care Crew Leader

Overview
We’re a growing lawn care company looking for a dependable Crew Leader with strong experience in mowing, trimming, and leading small teams. You’ll start part-time on the weekend and quickly grow into a full-time leadership role as we expand our weekly route.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of lawn care professionals in daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Oversee landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, edging, and debris removal.
• Conduct tree care services such as pruning and removal as needed.
• Train new crew members on best practices in lawn care and landscape maintenance.
• Build strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and addressing their landscaping needs.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• $18–$20/hour based on experience
• Weekly bonuses for reliability, speed, and quality.
• Promotion to full-time Crew Leader in as little as 4 weeks
• Company gear and tools provided
• After training. No Sunday work — Typical scheduling Tuesday–Saturday

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and reliably without supervision.
• Strong knowledge of groundskeeping techniques, including irrigation systems and tree care.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and crew members professionally.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (MVR will be checked) to operate company vehicles for transporting crew and equipment.
• Certification in landscape management or horticulture is a plus but not mandatory.
• A clean criminal background (background check required)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.73 - $19.92 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends only
