Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments, including commercial spaces, hotels, and residential properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in custodial or housekeeping management, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage and oversee daily cleaning operations to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Launder linens and towels as required, ensuring they are clean and well-presented for guests or clients.
- Supervise a team of cleaning staff, providing training and guidance to maintain high-quality service.
- Conduct regular inspections of cleaned areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Address any guest or client concerns regarding cleanliness promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the facility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and standards within the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all cleaning tasks.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with various cleaning products, tools, and equipment used in the industry.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
