We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dental Assistant to join our reputable dental practice. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced dental team, providing exceptional patient care and assisting with various dental procedures. Experience preferred but not require.
X-ray license .
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments
- Provide chairside support, passing instruments and materials to the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and assist with front desk duties when needed
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring their availability
Skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using dental software and computer systems
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterilization techniques
- Prior dental assisting experience is preferred but not required
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
