Your Role at KIK
We are seeking a skilled and experienced 3rd Shift (Monday PM - Saturday AM ) (9:00 PM - 5:30 AM) Lead Machine Operator to oversee and optimize our production processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring product quality, while leading and motivating a team of production employees. This position has an hourly rate of $22.00 with a $.50 shift differential in addition to eligibility to receive a quarterly 3% Operational bonus! Apply today!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervise and coordinate production and packaging operations, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Train, guide and motivate employees while maintaining machinery and overseeing the collaboration with Maintenance and Quality teams.
- Monitor output, inspect products for quality, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Maintain accurate production records and collaborate to resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure safety protocols, address bottlenecks, and maintain a clean work environment.
What You’ll Bring
- 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing automated filling environment, preferably in a leadership role
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a quality focused approach
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to operate a computer to pull reports and specifications
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 60 pounds
- Comfortable working in a factory environment with varying temperatures
- Comfortable working in a factory environment with strong fumes and high noise levels
- Comfortable wearing PPE
