Job Description:
As a Lead Technician, you will primarily work in the field, performing high-quality pest control services while gradually taking on more leadership responsibilities within the team. This role is designed for someone who is ready to contribute both through hands-on service and by mentoring and supporting other technicians. Key Responsibilities:
Field Operations (80-90% of Role Initially):
- Perform pest control services on assigned routes, ensuring effective treatment and complete customer satisfaction.
- Utilize pest control products in accordance with company standards, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Accurately report service completion, product usage, and any customer interactions daily.
Leadership and Mentoring (Growing Responsibility Over Time):
- Assist with training and onboarding new technicians, offering support and sharing best practices in pest control.
- Act as a role model for the team by demonstrating reliability, a strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
- Provide mentorship to newer team members, helping them grow their skills and integrate into the company culture.
Operational and Safety Support:
- Support operational initiatives such as route optimization, inventory management, and ensuring product availability.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and contribute to a culture of safety among the team.
Customer Service:
- Provide outstanding service to customers by addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build positive relationships with clients to contribute to long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements:
- Experience as a pest control technician (at least 1-2 years preferred).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others.
- Desire to take on more responsibility and grow into a leadership role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
