Description
Act as the community's sales representative by greeting clients, presenting the features and benefits of their community, and properly securing lease agreements from qualified persons.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years Customer service experience preferred in a leasing role

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds for administrative duties, and up to or over 50 pounds for maintenance, grounds, and/or housekeeping duties.

Collect a deposit and process future residents’ applications
- Ensure the mode/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean work space
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all community policies and ensure understanding of required application information, screening process, policies and procedures.
- Utilize proper customer service and sales techniques
- Maintain contact with all apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material
- “Shop” surrounding or competing properties and conduct outreach marketing
- Develop and maintain on-going resident retention programs
- Create new move-in resident files and assist with the ongoing file maintenance
- Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
- Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times
- Reside as an on-site resident and serve as a liaison to the local community, having knowledge and familiarity with the local services available to the community residents and having an understanding of the locality where the community is based in order to assist the residents with questions about available local amenities and services
- Assist new residents in making a positive transition into the community, including making at least one personal introduction with a new resident each month and providing a community packet introduction
- Attend all community meetings scheduled during normal work shifts; in the event community meetings are scheduled outside of regularly-scheduled work shifts, attend one after hours community meeting per quarter
Salary
$18 - $20 per hour
