Job description
We are currently looking for self-motivated, energetic, Leasing Agent for our apartment community. This position supports the Property Manager with completion of day-to-day activities in the Company’s best interest to ensure the property is rented to the fullest capacity. The ideal candidates will have experience working in a multi-family apartment community, knowledge of Fair Housing laws, and will possess strong communication and customer service skills. This property uses golf carts to transport people and materials. In addition, employees may be required to use their personal vehicle for business use, therefore, employees must provide and maintain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license, as well as, vehicle registration and auto insurance.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: preparing available units each morning for showings, answering the phones, assisting prospects and current residents with questions/concerns, completing leasing paperwork, posting notices, entering resident information into the system. All employees at the property are responsible for maintaining the safe and clean appearance of our property, grounds, units, pool and laundry facilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment background check and drug test post offer.
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Able to take initiative and work productively with minimal supervision
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook necessary
- Leasing Agent experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
