Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management and customer service, with a keen understanding of leasing processes and regulations. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining residents while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws.
Responsibilities
- Assist potential residents in finding their ideal apartment or home by providing detailed information on available properties.
- Conduct property tours and showcase amenities to prospective tenants, highlighting features that meet their needs.
- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
- Utilize property management software such OneSite for data entry, filing, and customer relationship management.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts through effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Uphold fair housing practices while promoting community standards and maintaining positive relationships with residents.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-kept and address any resident concerns promptly.
- Engage in upselling services or amenities to enhance resident satisfaction and retention.
Experience
- Previous experience in property leasing is Required, with familiarity in landlord-tenant law and fair housing regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to manage relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and maintaining organized records.
- Experience with conflict management and negotiation techniques to resolve tenant issues amicably.
- Knowledge of facilities management principles is a plus, along with experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
