Salary Range: $4,000 for each 3-credit course.

Hours: 10 hours per week, exempt.

Essential Functions

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses during fall and spring semesters. Course instruction will be primarily through face-to-face instruction with some possibility for hybrid and online formats based on department need.
  • Anticipated workload distribution: 100% teaching
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in social work, or related field.
  • Previous teaching or facilitation experience, ideally at an institution of higher education.
  • This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UTSA and its infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Working Conditions

This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
