Level II Technician

Responsibilities:
- Support services for Microsoft related technologies.
- Monitor alerts generated by company tools to resolve incidents before clients are aware of any issues.
- Maintain and support disaster recovery programs per client.
- Quickly respond to clients’ requests utilizing remote access solution implementation and support, escalating issues as needed to provide comprehensive solutions.
- Participate in preparation and on-site installation and troubleshooting of client hardware and software, as required.
- Maintain open communication with Dispatch concerning ongoing an completed status of tickets being worked.
- Communicate with clients, keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agree outages, as necessary.
- Communicate opportunities for additional services, including appropriately communicating information to departments within TAG as necessary.
- Adhere to metrics established by the company for response times and documentation.
- Work within established procedural guidelines and adhering to SLA requirements.
Requirements:
- Ability to work Mon-Fri 8 am – 5 pm, in the Midlothian, Virginia office.
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in IT or a related field is a plus.
- Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, including servers, and configuring of networking Equipment as required.
- Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot LAN/WAN/VPN connectivity.
- A+ and Net+ Certifications are preferred.
- Experience in managing end client networks is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work occasionally and/or be on call overtime, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment.

Salary Range: $48,000 - $60,000
