Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities and children in need of welfare services. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to advocacy, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks effectively. The Administrator will work closely with clients, families, and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and support.
Duties
- Oversee daily operations and administrative functions within the organization.
- Provide support and guidance to clients with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients effectively.
- Collaborate with childcare providers and child welfare agencies to coordinate services.
- Manage conflicts and mediate disputes between clients and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with child protective services regulations and standards.
- Conduct assessments for children in crisis situations, providing appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress notes, and service plans.
- Facilitate communication between families, social workers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in training sessions related to behavioral health and crisis management.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in social work settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of child welfare systems and child protective services is essential.
- Strong skills in conflict management and crisis intervention techniques.
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing principles is a plus.
- Background in childcare or experience working with children is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- A degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
