The Commercial Insurance Sales position involves selling a variety of commercial insurance products to businesses, focusing on building relationships and understanding their specific needs. The role requires strong sales and communication skills, as well as an understanding of various insurance policies and regulations. Key responsibilities include generating leads, presenting solutions, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other lead generation methods including paid advertising.
- Needs Assessment: Meet with potential clients to understand their business risks, existing insurance coverage, and their specific insurance needs.
- Presenting and Closing: Present commercial insurance products and solutions, highlighting their benefits and addressing client concerns to secure new business.
- Client Retention: Provide excellent customer service, address client inquiries, and build long-term relationships to retain existing business.
Skills
- Possess a strong understanding of various commercial insurance policies, including property, liability, workers' compensation, and other relevant coverages.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products to better serve client needs.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall agency/company revenue growth.
- Stay current with industry knowledge and certifications through ongoing training and development.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $100,000.00 per year
