Life Skills Instructor (Life Coach) – Full-Time in Shasta County

Looking for consistent hours, work/life balance, and room to grow? Compass SLS & ILS is hiring a full-time Life Skills Instructor to support adults with developmental disabilities through Independent Living Services.
Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–7pm
Travel: Expected 800+ miles/month to meet clients in their homes and communities
What You'll Do:
As a coach, you’ll walk beside clients, teaching essential life skills like:
- Budgeting & money management
- Cooking, cleaning & healthy living
- Social & recreation skills
- Scheduling medical/dental appointments
- Building confidence and independence

What You Need:
- A car, valid CA driver’s license, and insurance
- CPR/First Aid before hire (we’ll pay for it!)
- Willingness to learn—no degree required
- Strong time management & knowledge of local resources
- Able to pass a background check, drug test, and eligible to work in the U.S.
