This position is year-round during mornings. We will accept seasonal staff, but prefer reliable professional all year. Lifeguard at our Paxton location - British Swim School of Worcester Aquatics team is seeking experienced, enthusiastic, responsible applicants with CPR, AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications for a year-round position. Interested in certification but cannot afford it? We will certify you as long as you lifeguard for us!

- Mondays to Fridays from 6:30am to 9:30AM

We are currently seeking qualified professionals to fill positions as Lifeguards. To succeed in this role, an individual must be willing to test their limits and be comfortable not only being a part of a team, but also being the leader. Candidates should also be strong swimmers and constantly aware of the dangers of the water. We are looking for responsible and detail-oriented individuals who can make split-second decisions when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate drowning situations to determine if a rescue is appropriate.
- Ascertain and record the severity of an emergency, including the location and time of the emergency.
- Transport and provide first aid to distressed swimmers, including performing underwater rescue techniques.
- Ensure that pool rules are enforced.
- Direct swimmers to areas of the pool that are safe, taking into account water conditions, weather, and other factors.
- Assist in the development and teaching of lifeguard skills and techniques.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
