Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and attentive individual to join our team as a Lifeguard for the summer months. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests at the pool. This is a rewarding position that requires strong swimming skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Duties:
- Monitor pool area to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment
- Provide excellent guest service by answering questions and assisting with inquiries
- Perform pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and maintaining pool equipment
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area to identify any hazards or potential risks
- Respond promptly and effectively to any emergency situations or incidents
- Administer first aid and CPR as necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified Lifeguard with current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Strong swimming skills and ability to perform rescues if needed
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
- Physical fitness and ability to perform heavy lifting or strenuous activities as required
- Previous experience in lifeguarding or related roles is preferred
