Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to provide excellent guest services. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all patrons.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid as necessary.
- Conduct regular pool maintenance and cleaning to ensure water quality and hygiene.
- Provide exceptional guest services by assisting patrons with inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain vigilance while on duty, remaining alert for any signs of distress or unsafe behavior.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding techniques.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to pool equipment or maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard certification is required; CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues effectively.
- Experience in pool maintenance and cleaning is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and remain attentive during long periods of standing or sitting.
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing heavy lifting when necessary.
- A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
