Line Server
A line server is responsible for serving food to customers in a restaurant setting. They work in a fast-paced environment and must be able to handle multiple tasks at once.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food items according to recipes and customer requests
- Set up serving stations with food, utensils, and condiments
- Keep serving areas clean and organized
- Assist customers with food choices and answer questions about menu items
- Restock food items and supplies as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work as part of a team to ensure efficient service
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
