CASHIER/CUSTOMER SERVICE (IN STORE)
Bonnie Brae Liquor is an iconic landmark in the Bonnie Brae Neighborhood of Denver. A growing wine, beer and spirits retailer, we currently have a position available for a Full-time/Part-time cashier/merchandiser who is customer focused, friendly with a can do attitude!
Product knowledge preferred. Backgrounds in relevant industries such as culinary, hospitality and grocery also welcome.
This position INCLUDES nights/weekends and holidays or eves of holidays.
Applicants MUST be at least 21 years old.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Greeting customers upon entry, waiting on customers, including but not limited to: finding items on shelves, recommending and selling merchandise to customers, and carrying merchandise to their cars.
- Collecting customer information pertaining to special orders, requests and our loyalty program.
- Directing customers through checkout while accurately handling cash, checks, credit cards, gift cards, coupons, and balancing a register drawer.
- Checking proper identification to sell liquor, beer, wine and cigarettes
- Performing general cleaning maintenance in the store
- Assisting in setting up and maintaining floor displays
- Stocking, arranging and rotating wine, beer and spirits on shelves and in coolers during downtimes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50lbs. Safely and repeatedly
- Cash handling experience
- STRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, OUTGOING & FRIENDLY!
- Beer, wine and spirits knowledge experience a plus
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Outgoing and good social skills

Friday 3:00pm-10:00pm
Saturday 3:00pm-10:00pm
