Childs McCune Michalek LLC, a mid-size law firm based in Denver, has an immediate opening for a Legal Assistant in our Denver office. This is not a paralegal position. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience in state and federal court litigation. The desk for this position is a very busy one so we are looking for candidates that have excellent typing skills, who are very detail-oriented, a multi-tasker and who have exceptional organization skills.

This position requires the following knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of MS Office, which includes Word, scheduling in Outlook and virtual meetings on Teams and Zoom;
- Knowledge and use of ShareFile, SharePoint and OneDrive;
- Work with subpoenas, deposition notices, and various pleadings;
- E-filing experience in state and federal courts.

The salary range is $55,000 to $68,000, depending on a potential employee’s qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
