San Francisco, California

Job ID: 3196765
DoorDash, Inc.
San Francisco, CA

About The Team

At DoorDash, the Legal team is known for its collaborative, thoughtful, and action-oriented approach to solving complex problems. We are a diverse group of lawyers, paralegals, and project managers who partner cross-functionally to mitigate risk, support growth, and protect the business. We operate with urgency, own our work, and care deeply about delivering results — together.

About The Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join our Insurance Litigation team. In this role, you’ll help manage a dynamic personal injury litigation docket and collaborate closely with in-house counsel, outside counsel, insurance carriers, and internal partners across DoorDash. You’ll play a key role in keeping matters moving forward efficiently and helping us continuously improve how we manage litigation at scale.

This is a remote position based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with occasional in-office expectations at our San Francisco HQ.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

  • Own and manage a large docket of personal injury litigation matters, from intake through resolution
  • Maintain and update case records, timelines, and critical data in our litigation database with precision
  • Coordinate document retrieval and distribution, including service of process and incoming legal correspondence
  • Support discovery efforts, such as issuing legal holds, responding to subpoenas, and organizing case files
  • Drive process improvements that enhance data accuracy, team efficiency, and our ability to meet financial reporting and audit requirements
  • Collaborate closely with outside counsel, in-house attorneys, claims professionals, and safety teams to move cases forward
  • Contribute to special projects and process innovation initiatives that align with Legal’s operational goals

We’re Excited About You Because You…

  • Take ownership of your work and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, with strong judgment and a high level of discretion
  • Maintain a team-first mindset - no task is too big or too small
  • Bring a strong EQ and collaborative spirit to everything you do
  • Have 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm, in-house legal department, or related field
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (paralegal certification is a plus)
