Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to an individual in their own home. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Monitor patient health by observing and reporting any changes in condition or behavior.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans.
- Provide support for individuals with special needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for resident.
Skills
- Proficiency in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Experience in assisted living or long-term care settings is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Strong patient monitoring skills to ensure the well-being of clients.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Capability for heavy lifting as required by client needs.
- Familiarity with home community care principles is beneficial.
- Cooking skills to prepare healthy meals tailored to client preferences are advantageous.
