Overview
Blooming Care In-Home Care Services is looking for compassionate and dedicated Live-In Personal Care Professional to provide quality care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.
Schedule & Work Environment:
- Live-in shifts is structured 3.5 days on / 3.5 days off, depending on client needs and caregiver availability.
- During your scheduled, you will reside in the client’s home to provide continuous care and support.
- Overnight rest is accommodated in a designated sleeping area, ensuring you have time to recharge while remaining available if needed.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation to enhance the client’s emotional and mental well-being; this is a core requirement of the role.
- Assist with hospice care support, working alongside the hospice team to ensure comfort, dignity, and quality of life for the client.
- Monitor for signs of fall risk and implement basic safety precautions to help prevent accidents in the home.
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Provide medication reminders to ensure adherence to prescribed routines and hospice comfort measures.
- Support with grooming, bathing, dressing, and incontinence care, respecting the client’s dignity and preferences
Qualifications & Skills:
- Compassionate and able to treat seniors with dignity and respect.
- Patient, friendly, and a good listener with strong communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check, DMV check, and drug screening.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, Social Security card, and auto insurance.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (both spoken and written).
- Willingness to complete required training and ongoing education.
- Must be able to submit clear and timely daily documentation of client care and activities.
