Local Registration Authority Technician

Our team in Pensacola, FL has an opening for a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Local Registration Authority (LRA) Technician supporting the PKI operational processes for users aboard MSC ships worldwide. Primary responsibilities include:

• Assist in appointing Trusted Agents (TA) at various remote command locations to help PKI certificate issuance and
• Ensure TAs have been designated in writing by the official authority and have received necessary training
• Collect, verify, and submit information provided by potential subscribers to register, revoke and enroll users of SIPRNET PKI certificates
• Coordinate with individuals to control the registration process and validate the identification of users
• Track, document, and file auditable information/documentation in accordance with NSS, NSA, and NCMS inspection requirements
• Properly maintain and update required IA and PKI legal documents to ensure signed for auditing purposes
• Routinely review MSC and Navy policies, procedures, and regulatory changes that can impact operations and functionality

• 
  Must possess current IAT II certification, including an appropriate Computing Environment certification, in accordance with IAWF DoD 8570.01M
• Must have at least 5 years of progressive IT experience
• Must have experience in the PKI community (additional training provided)
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to resolve issues in a customer-facing position
