Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Data Analyst to support sustainment operations for U.S. military weapons systems, with an emphasis on aircraft platforms. This role will focus on product support data management across the lifecycle of the weapon system, enabling operational readiness and mission effectiveness.
The analyst will contribute to logistics and sustainment engineering activities including material management, maintenance planning, training support, technical data oversight, and reliability analysis. The ideal candidate has experience with large-scale sustainment data, understands DoD logistics principles, and is comfortable working with digital engineering tools.
Duties
- Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics and sustainment data to support aircraft and weapons system readiness.
- Manage and update logistics product support data, including maintenance schedules, bill of materials (BOM), technical manuals, and configuration baselines.
- Support data-driven decision-making for provisioning, spares optimization, and obsolescence management.
- Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA)
- Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
- Logistics Support Analysis Records (LSAR)
- Conduct root cause analysis on maintenance data trends and reliability issues.
- Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and sustainment stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance across system lifecycle phases.
- Integrate logistics data within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments—Teamcenter experience is a strong plus.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives using model-based sustainment and logistics digital twins.
- Assist in the development of training support data and system usage guides for maintainers and operators.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Data Science, Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics data analysis, sustainment engineering, or ILS roles—preferably in aerospace or defense.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition and sustainment processes (e.g., MIL-STD-1388, GEIA-STD-0007, Product Support Manager functions).
- Experience with Teamcenter, S1000D/IETM, or PLM/ILS data management tools.
- Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and/or Python for data analysis.
- Knowledge of RAM-C, LORA, or RCM processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
