Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lot Attendant/detailer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership as a whole by collaborating between different departments, managing the vehicles on the lot, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. As a Lot Attendant, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression for our customers while maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lot and our vehicles. This position requires the right person who is willing to be flexible and will take pride in their role.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and test drives of vehicles to ensure cleanliness, quality standards, and readiness for display or delivery.
- Perform detailing duties to prepare vehicles for sale as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and orderly work environment and to ensure efficient operations and meet dealership goals.
- Monitor and move vehicles in the lot as needed to ensure safety and security for all guests.
- Provide assistance to customers with inquiries regarding services or directions within the facility.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and store.
- Stocking and managing keys for all vehicles.
- Transport vehicles to the dealership from auctions.
- Complete parts deliveries to/from the dealership as needed.
- Perform errands for the dealership as needed.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing an exceptional experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a broader customer base.
- Previous experience in a dealership or hospitality setting is advantageous.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Physical ability to drive vehicles, lift, and carry heavy objects
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record
