Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Lowbed Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting Heavy Equipment to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, ensuring that all Equipment is on time and in excellent condition.
Duties
- Operate various types of trucks, including those with manual transmissions.
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE AN 18 SPEED TRANSMISSION
- Load and unload Equipment , ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo delivered. and hrs per load to be billed
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and transportation.
- Must have mechanical knowledge of the trucks and ability to fix them
Experience
- MUST HAVE LOWBED/ HEAVY HAULING EXPERIENCE . FREIGHT AND LONG DISTANCE IS NOT EXACEPTABLE . NOR IS ONLY DRIVING AN AUTOMATIC TRANSSMISSION
- Familiarity with route driving and freight handling is essential.
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required for this position.
- Strong understanding of manual transmission operation is a MUST!
- Ability to work independently while adhering to company standards for safety and efficiency.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
