Requirements:
Must hold a current and unencumbered license to practice as a nurse or LPN in the state of Florida. Must have a degree in an accredited nursing program, college or university. It is preferred the RN or LPN supervisor will have taken courses in nursing management or supervision and geriatric rehabilitative and restorative nursing.
RN or LPN licensure with a minimum of 6 months or more experience of working in a hospital, long term care facility or skilled nursing facility with training or experience implementing total patient care and care planning and in making sound nurse judgements. In addition, the LPN or RN supervisor will be familiar with the policies, regulations, and procedures of assisted nursing homes.
