Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community, located in Cincinnati, OH are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Clinic Nurse to join our team! This is a fulltime day shift position, Monday- Friday with NO weekends or holidays. The hours for this position are 9a-5p. The pay for this position is $34.00 per hour.
As a Clinic Nurse, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of our clinic by providing nursing care to patients (residents and staff), assisting healthcare providers, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and supporting our team in providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians and/or nurse practitioners.
- Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and assist with physical exams.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with minor procedures and tests.
- Educate patients and families on health management, treatment options, and prevention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient flow.
- Other duties as assigned within your scope of practice.
- Required: Valid and active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license.
- Previous experience: 3-5 years bedside and/or clinical experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- BLS certification required (CPR; or willing to get within 60 days of employment)
- Assist the AL Director with resident assessments, clerical duties, and taking an assignment on the floor as needed.
- Other duties as assigned to meet residents' needs
