Machine Operator:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains productivity levels according to plant goals.
- Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.
- Properly reports labor
- Gets drawings needed and cut parts without assistance
- Operates a computerized back stop
- Performs weekly maintenance on shear
- Knowledge of gauges / types of metals
- Reads blue prints as needed
- Stores parts properly
- Distinguishes between interior and exterior
- Performs scribing and notching
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred
- Read and write English
- Knowledge of company safety policies
- Able to read Tape measure
- Prior Machine Operating experience REQUIRED
