Starting Pay up to $20.20* per hour. *Pay varies depending on position and grade level.
Position Description:
Applicants will be considered for any open machine operating position on the shift designated in the posting, such as day, evening or night shift.
Knowledge & Responsibilities:
- Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, fractions, etc.)
- Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
- The positions consist of operating packaging machines, grinders or stuffers and may include tow motors.
- The setup and tear down or clean equipment i.e., packaging machines, grinders or stuffers
- This position may count, weigh or document product counts and or times
- Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
- Perform general housekeeping duties in the department
- Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
- Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable.
- May use SAP if transferred/rotated
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently
- The Team Member will reach high and low levels, frequently
- The Team Member will flex/grip with wrist/hands
- The Team Member will work in extreme hot or cold temperatures in a damp environment.
- The Team Member will work the noise level in the work environment is usually loud
Preferred Skills:
- Machine Operator experience preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- RF Scanner experience preferred
Requirements:
- 3 months of work history with the same employer
Applicants will be considered for Labor level openings. Leveling (pay) is determined based on availability of relevant labor level job. Applicants may choose from any of the roles listed below based on availability. Operator:
Bagger, Blender, Curer, Grinder, Ingredient Mixer, Machine, Mixer, Multivac, Peeler, Relief, Stuffer, Saw, Smoke House, Smoke Master, Stuffer, and Utility.
