Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery used in the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery such as lathes, milling machines, and press brake machines to ensure quality production.
- Fabricate components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize hand tools and basic math skills to perform measurements and adjustments as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Experience
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or industrial setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Knowledge of machining processes including milling, turning, and fabrication techniques.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 48 per week
