We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating various types of machinery in a factory setting. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes and mills
- Set up machines for production runs, including adjusting settings and calibrating equipment as necessary.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Utilize hand tools for precision tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating lathes and other machining equipment.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and factory operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience with quality control procedures to ensure product standards are met.
