- Overview
Duties
- Material Handling: Load raw materials into machines, monitor production output, and unload finished products.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects ensuring adherence to quality standards and make machine adjustments as needed to maintain output quality.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Diagnose and resolve simple mechanical issues with machinery. Perform basic routine maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating and adjusting machine settings.
Qualifications
- Basic math skills for accurate measurement and inventory management.
- Knowledge of quality control processes and standards in manufacturing.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Frequently required to lift, move, and carry raw materials, machine components and finished products weighing up to 50lbs.
- Must stand and walk for extended periods, typically 8 hours per shift.
- Must have fine motor skills for adjusting machine settings, using tools, and handling small parts with precision.
- Assist with operating machine controls, adjust heavy parts, and tighten or loosen machinery components with regular exposure to vibrations from operating machinery.
- Steel toe boots required

- Day shift 7:00am - 3:30pm M-F
Work Location: In person
- This position involves operating and assisting with the machinery used in the production of steel roll formed products. A Machine Operator will perform tasks necessary to support daily operations.
