Johnson Law Group is a fast-growing, client-focused legal practice built on collaboration, precision, and professionalism. We're seeking a reliable and organized Mail Clerk to join our Houston team. This is a great opportunity for someone starting out in their career, whether you're a recent college graduate or looking for your first full-time role in a professional setting.
We're open to training the right individual who brings a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and professional demeanor. This is a fully in-person position based in the Upper Kirby area of Houston.
What You'll Do
- Open, sort, scan, and route all incoming mail and documentation
- Process outgoing mail via FedEx, USPS (certified), and other methods
- Create and manage both electronic and physical file folders
- Download and maintain electronic medical records in our CRM
- Support large mailing projects, including mail merges, document coding, and Acrobat forms
- Maintain accurate records and assist with purging and archiving physical files
- Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc projects as needed
- Coordinate with internal teams on document logistics and process improvements

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask, follow procedures, and work independently
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
Nice to Have (Preferred but Not Required)
- Experience with Acrobat form setup
- Familiarity with Docrio or similar document management systems
- Prior experience in a law firm or high-volume office setting
