Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Mailroom Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sorting, distributing, and processing incoming and outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely and accurate delivery across departments. This role is critical to supporting daily operations and maintaining smooth communication throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Prepare and send outgoing mail using postage meters, courier services, and standard mailing procedures.
- Log and track deliveries and shipments accurately.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of mailroom area.
- Ensure prompt delivery of internal and external correspondence.
- Assist with inventory of mailroom supplies
- Coordinate with courier and shipping vendors as needed.
- Perform additional administrative support duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a mailroom, clerical, or administrative support role is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Dependable, organized, and a team player with a positive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
