Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, mechanical knowledge, and customer service skills, enabling them to effectively address various maintenance tasks while providing excellent service to our residents.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Fabricate and install fixtures or components as needed to maintain property standards.
- Oversee and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and safely.
- Execute residential painting tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of properties.
- Utilize tools to troubleshooting for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to resident requests and concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Some mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
- Experience with residential painting techniques is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintenance challenges.
