Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This role requires a blend of mechanical knowledge, customer service skills, and hands-on maintenance experience. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for both staff and residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system checks.
- Conduct residential painting and fabrication projects as needed to enhance facility aesthetics.
- Supervise maintenance staff and assist in training new team members on best practices.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or staff, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the facility.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance.
- Proficient in electrical systems, including the use of diagnostic tools like an ohmmeter.
- Ability to perform residential painting and fabrication tasks effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on resident satisfaction.
