Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Maintenance Leader to oversee and drive maintenance excellence across our manufacturing facility. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that equipment and facilities are maintained and continuously improved to support operational goals. You will lead a team of Maintenance Technicians and manage a wide range of responsibilities, from troubleshooting and repairs to project execution and preventive maintenance.
The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise—especially in injection molding equipment—paired with strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and perform complex electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance activities.
- Supervise and mentor a team of Maintenance Technicians, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Lead preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions to restore operations efficiently.
- Prioritize and assign work orders, track status, and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers for timely replacements.
- Execute facility and equipment upgrade projects aligned with safety and OSHA requirements.
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase reliability, safety, and cost-efficiency.
- Lead the installation and decommissioning of plant machinery.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience managing a maintenance team in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise working with injection molding machinery—a must-have.
- College degree in Engineering or a completed technical apprenticeship/certification is preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
- Strong working knowledge of diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proficient in interpreting and applying national/local electrical codes and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Highly safety-conscious and able to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
