Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of all equipment and systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in facilities management and maintenance management. You will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with standards.
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
- Fabricate parts as necessary to support maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations within the facility.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of logic controllers, HVAC systems, facilities management, and general maintenance practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
