We are looking for a full time hotel maintenance person. If you enjoy fixing things and like working with a friendly group of people, then consider coming to work for us.
A typical day includes cleaning the exterior, picking up and keeping the parking lot clean. We are looking for someone that has experience with plumbing repairs and is comfortable with electrical outlets/switches. Simple repairs like touch up painting, fixing vacuums and repairs to larger equipment, bell carts, changing air filters in HVAC systems, and whatever else comes your way. It's a 20 year old building, so there are some fun challenges we come up with from time to time.

Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping etc.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Do garden/yard upkeep of lawn areas, collecting trash etc.
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and fixing switches
- Replace air conditioning filters and cleaning ice machines
- Monthly testing of smoke detectors
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Skills
- Experience using hand and electrical tools
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
