Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at performing a variety of maintenance tasks in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Weld and fabricate components as needed for repairs or installations.
- Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Perform residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and safely.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC operations.
- Ability to weld and fabricate parts as necessary for repairs.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise projects effectively.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in residential painting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
