Summary
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for getting properties rent-ready, performing a variety of handyman tasks, and inspecting properties. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while representing the company in a professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Prepare properties for new tenants, ensuring they meet quality standards.
- Perform general maintenance and handyman repairs.
- Conduct property inspections and document findings.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property manager.
- On-call for nights and weekends to handle emergency repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area.
- Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines.
- Assist in managing maintenance schedules and records.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with tenants and clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance or handyman experience.
- Must supply your own tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform various repairs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
