Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment, systems, and structures. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs and modifications.
- Execute facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Maintain mechanical knowledge to address various equipment issues effectively.
- Oversee residential painting projects to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Supervise junior technicians or apprentices when required, providing leadership and guidance in their tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles within manufacturing or facilities environments is preferred.
- Strong electrical experience with the ability to read and interpret schematics is essential.
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, welding techniques, and use of tools such as ohmmeters is advantageous.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a technical setting.

Pay: $23.68 - $28.51 per hour
